Srimad Bhagavatam, a part of the Mah?pur??a is a highly regarded ancient Hindu book that emphasizes bhakti, or devotion, to Lord Vishnu. Written by the sage Vyasa, this hindu puran is divided into twelve volumes with 18,000 verses that cover a variety of tales, ideas, and lessons.

By highlighting the significance of dharma (righteousness), bhakti (devotion), and karma (action), the Bhagavatham demonstrates how people can lead moral lives, acquire spiritual knowledge, and eventually achieve liberation (moksha).

This hindu puran is a collection of Lord Vishnu's accounts of divine incarnations, or avatars. These include the well-known legends of the Supreme God Krishna, his teachings, miracles, and childhood. The Bhagavatam also emphasizes the universe's creation, the cosmic functions of various deities, and the never-ending cycle of creation and destruction.

Cursed to die in seven days, Parikshit spends this time listening to the Bhagavatam as narrated by Suka (Sukadeva), the son of Vyasa, the great sage who composed the Bhagavatam. It is said that through this narration, Parikshit attains spiritual liberation.
• The Bhagavatam also highlights the spiritual journeys of notable devotees, including Prahlada, a young devotee of Lord Vishnu whose unwavering faith triumphed over his father Hiranyakashipu's persecution, showcasing divine protection.
• Dhruva, a prince whose intense penance earned him eternal glory as the Dhruva Nakshatra (Pole Star), symbolizing determination and devotion.
