"Grace Your Space with the Divine Presence of Mayil Murugan – Brass Idol of Lord Murugan with Peacock""

Our Mayil Murugan Statue, a gorgeous antique polish brass statue that depicts the majestic figure of Lord Murugan standing next to his sacred vehicle, the peacock (Mayil Vahanam), will help you invoke strength, knowledge, and peace. This ageless brass Murugan idol, ideal for altars in temples, houses, or as gifts, is a heavenly fusion of artistic legacy and religious symbolism.

• Origin
This idol of Lord Murugan, expertly crafted from long-lasting brass, depicts him standing majestically, holding his Vel (spear), and wearing traditional jewelry. Next to him is the peacock, a bright companion that represents the destruction of ego and darkness. The idol's spiritual intensity is increased by the antique polish, which gives it a traditional and vintage aesthetic. The exquisite South Indian artistry is reflected in every aspect, from Murugan's tranquil face to the feather embellishment on the peacock.

This brass idol enhances your area with both spiritual worth and a touch of traditional décor. Usually made of sturdy brass, this idol is hefty, long-lasting, and perfect for regular worship or celebration presentation. Because of its antique polish, it has a heritage appearance that makes it ideal for pooja rooms, traditional interiors, or as a collectors item of religious art.

• The Vel of Victory: The Story of Lord Murugan and Surapadman
In the old days, when the balance of dharma was threatened and darkness loomed over the sky, the devas (heavenly beings) begged Lord Shiva for salvation. Surapadman, a formidable demon endowed with blessings and arrogance, had subjugated the three planets and disseminated terror and injustice. He was unbeatable.
Hearing the devas' screams, Lord Shiva, in his divine insight, opened his third eye, and from the blast of divine energy came a bright child with six faces—Lord Murugan, also known as Shanmuga. The six celestial maidens (Krittikas) raised him, and later, Goddess Parvati embraced him, combining the six into a single, potent divinity.
Parvati gave Murugan the Vel, a sacred spear filled with tremendous power and representing wisdom, bravery, and the ability to vanquish ignorance, as a weapon in preparation for combat.

Lord Murugan set out to destroy evil, holding the Vel in his hand and accompanied by the peacock, his heavenly steed. He commanded a heavenly force and engaged in a violent six-day battle against Surapadman and his siblings. On the sixth day, Murugan killed Surapadman's brothers. However, Surapadman utilized his supernatural abilities to turn into a massive mango tree in order to avoid being defeated. Murugan was able to see through the ruse, and he used his Vel to split the tree in half with extraordinary skill. A peacock came out of one half, while a rooster came out of the other.

Surapadman surrendered as a result of Murugan's strength and kindness. In a display of compassion and turning enemies into friends, Murugan changed the rooster into his banner (Seval Kodi) and the peacock into his mount rather than killing him. From that day on, Lord Murugan was referred to as the God of War, the Destroyer of Darkness, and the Protector of Righteousness. This heavenly triumph is commemorated by the Skanda Shashti festival, which is observed with great reverence throughout Tamil Nadu and elsewhere.

• Uses
This Murugan statue is ideal for events like housewarmings, Thaipusam, Skanda Sashti, Kanda Shasti Kavasam readings, and any religious occasion. Additionally, it's a thoughtful present for people looking to develop their strength, discipline, and spirituality.

• Preservation
• Use a soft, dry cloth to carefully clean to preserve the antique polish. Stay away from chemical cleansers and avoid exposing the idol to water.
• The brass murugan idol will acquire a natural patina with time, improving its retro appeal.
• May this heavenly Murugan with Peacock idol bless your house with peace, purpose, and divine energy. It's a classic representation of love and protection, not simply a sculpture.

"Welcome Lord Murugan and his sacred Mayil—a brass masterpiece of spiritual beauty and power—into your house."
