Women-Vandhya Doshas
"Barren" simply means... "unfit to have children"! This dosha- which can happen to women, is caused by various types of unwholesome karma charanas- from ten types; For women - sorrow is the reason.
"Tato naga pooja shanthi reva papa nikrantani" is said... this stage is for the elimination of various infertility doshas - by performing peace rituals like snake deity worship, sarpa shanti, naga pooja etc.
The first of these Vandhya Doshas - 'Aadi Vandhya'! As women throw away their cloths (during menstruation)- trees, bushes etc... this dosha is accomplished; In the next birth - a woman who lacks feminine qualities, the child will be poor.
garbha vandhya dwiyasya dgarbha bhanga karihisa.
Second- 'Pregnancy'! While this dosha is cooking, from the firewood in the oven... the beautiful life signs are burning because of the 'garbha sandhya'.

When women get pregnant... those signs do not appear, pregnancy can be lost after a few days.

"Pregnancy" is - the third dosha! When the houses are not washed, when the dishes are cleaned, when the flowers are cut - some animals can die without knowing it. Because of such a sin... this doshma is attained; For women - bleeding and miscarriages can occur.
Chaturthi mrita sandhyasya tsarva duhkha karihisa
Fourth - 'Mrita Vandhya'! Parrots, parakeets, pigeons. Korkai dechi to grow three things; When they don't have proper nutrition... When they die- due to this dosha, the children they have- grow up to five years of age and perish.... For women- there can be great sorrow.
Pancham Kadali Sandhya Prasuta Uttarottare. Purvapurva vinasassva tpada chinta pradahipa.
Fifth Dagu 'Kadali Vandhya' can cause constant sorrows. Women - while combing their heads - the lice in the head - mercilessly... press their bellies and kill them. Due to such a sin... the number of offspring... can cause the death of the previous offspring.
